Hi I'm Karen! I am 30 years old from Mexico but I have been living in Rotterdam for some years already. I live together with my Dutch boyfriend and our 7 year old cat Lucy 😊. I´ve always had dogs as pets while growing up, and growing up in Mexico means that I have also been exposed to a lot of street dogs. My love for dogs started as a child and it has only become stronger as as an adult. 

When I was moving to the Netherlands my plan was to bring my dog Nini with me, but unfortunately she passed away a few months before our departure date. After my dog´s passing my parents adopted a new dog called Jack who is now 10 years old. Everytime I go back home we go on adventures together, and even though he is an "older" dog by age he is young at heart. Being with him makes me the happiest person and that is the same feeling I have whenever I am with any dog. I love dogs more than anyone could understand and I really do believe they are a human´s best friend.

I always thought of myself as a dog person and never would imagine I would have a cat, however life had other plans. Lucy came to us 7 years ago when we rescued her from a bad situation. Who would´ve known that a dog person could become a cat person as well? Unfortunately having Lucy means I am not able to own a dog at this moment. Although I love my cat I really miss spendig time with a dog. 

That is why I decided to join Paw shake 😊. If you are looking for a responsible and loving company for your dog then look no further. I understand that a dog is not just a dog, they are part of the family and I will treat your furry friend with all the care and love they deserve. I really enjoy going for long walks and being outdoors on my own, but doing these things with a dog would make it way more gezellig! At the same time I also enjoy being at home relaxing, so whether you are looking for someone to take your dog on an outdoor activity or just give them some company at home I would be happy to help.

As a cat owner myself I understand the funny and complex personality of cats. I would love to come to your house and feed your cat, clean the sand box, and ofcourse play and cuddle with them as much as they need it. In case your cat needs to be walked with a leash I would love to go on a walk with them.
