Hi, my name's Jess. I'm a 21 y/o South African living here in NL for 3.5 years. Back home I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits - all sorts of animals. As a result, I adore creatures of all kinds. I truly miss my dogs, but living with my partner in a tiny apartment, we simply don't have the space to adopt a doggy of our own. That's why house sitting really appeals to us both, actually. I have so much love to share with your fur-babies! 🐶

I lead an active life and thoroughly enjoy taking a furry companion on a long walk. I have house sitting experience, and I'm naturally very neat, quiet and respectful. I work in Amsterdam 4 days per week, meaning I'll be gone for 8-10 hours at a time on workdays. But I promise to shower your darling pet(s) with ample love and attention every other minute I'm home!

*Side note: My partner, Hidde, may potentially join me for a housesit occasionally, but this all depends on his schedule. I will always discuss with you wether it'll be just be me or the both of us looking after your home beforehand, of course.

House Sitting

I offer House Sitting (staying in your home to look after your pets 24/7). Tasks & responsibilities I'll take on include:

•walking your dog(s) at least once per day (or whatever routine they're used to).

•watering houseplants, your garden, feeding goldfish - whatever "extra" tasks you may need done.

•keeping your home super tidy & leaving it in excellent condition. I'll take out the garbage on schedule, wash my linen before leaving, etc.

•cleaning up after your dogs, both on the street and in the garden (or on your sofa, if there's an accident 💩)

•cleaning the litter box as often as necessary 🐈

•feeding/preparing food in whatever way your pets require, and ensuring they always have clean water readily available.

•texting you regular updates & pictures of your fur-babies while you're away. I'll also always look out for any signs of illness or pain and alert you immediately, should anything happen. I will bring them to the nearest veterinarian ASAP if necessary.

If you leave me a list of specific instructions or tasks to do, I'll take care of everything with thoughtful precision.
