Marisa and Alan

Marisa and Alan here, we’re two dog lovers. Marisa from the Netherlands and Alan from Ireland. We‘ve both had pets our whole lives and currently have a resident miniature schnauzer. We’re opening up our home to mind your fur babies, be that while you’re away or your little furry friend just needs some tiring out. Both of us can work from home several days during the week, so your pet will always have a friend to play with.

We have a 140sqm maisonette with Alan, Marisa and Oya (our mini schnauzer) with a large balcony and it’s all dog proof, with high fences and all the safety measures needed to keep your pet safe. Our little girl loves to run from rug to rug, throwing her toys about, just for us to clean up. Your pet is more than welcome to join her. Oya gets on with all dogs, cats, bunnies and birds. Oya boards with a bunny when we’re away and they are besties. Your pet will sleep in our sitting room with our dog. But if you need them separated for any reason we have plenty of indoor space.

We walk Oya and your pet in the local parks of Haarlem and we generally have about 2 hours worth of walks - 1 long walk in the morning, 1 long walk in the afternoon and then many small walks around the block in between. If your pet is ok with it, we go to the dunes or the beach once a day. It’s always a favorite for dogs that visit. Whatever the activity level, we can cater to it.

We both have experience with young and older dogs, medicine, diabetes, you name it and we can help. Just tell us your requirements and we will make sure your dog feels just at home.
