Hi, I am Paula, a 23 year old student living in Groningen. Originally I come from Germany where I grew up surrounded by animals on a farm, as well as lived in Berlin with the two dogs of my parents. I have been living in Groningen for the past four years and am currently finishing my bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence and Physics.

I am living in a 70 m2 apartment close to the city center with my boyfriend Thomas and our dog, Flora. Since I mostly work on my bachelor's thesis and take care of Flora every day, I have the time and space to take care of your dog, depending on your needs. My services range from walking your dog up to taking care of him/her over a period of time.

I have an active lifestyle and try to go out to the countryside with Flora as much as possible. This includes going to the "losloopgebied" in Kardinge, going sailing on the Paterswoldse Meer (of course only if the dog is used to water), or going for shorter walks in Sterrebos. As I have taken care of all kinds of ages and sizes of dogs (ranging from a young Jack Russel up to an old Bouvier des Flandres), I can completely adapt my routine to your and your pets needs.

Flora is a well-socialized and friendly dog, who gets along with any other animal and person. She is still quite young (born in Feb 2021), but when meeting other animals she is careful at first and then adapts to their energy level quite quickly. Therefore, I am sure that she would get along with your dog as well. Additionally to Flora we have a dwarf hamster James and an aquarium full of shrimps. Since James is very shy he is not keen on getting to know dogs, but he lives his happy life in a terrarium out of reach for the dogs.

Since I grew up with dogs and fulfilled my dream on having one on my own, I am experienced with dog training and dog care. I would love to help you out whenever you need some help with taking your dog on a walk or taking care of it for a while. Since we also own a car, we could pick up or drop off your dog.

Regarding our apartment, we have a big living room and a hallway where the dogs would stay. We also have a small garden but since it is too small for the dogs to run around we mostly go to parks to do so. We live in a quiet area just south of the city center, but go for walks all around the city and countryside.
