Hi there!

My name is Jeroen, a 31-year-old Dutch-born global citizen, and I want to be your pet’s new best buddy!

As you see I'm new on Pawshake, however, I am a huge animal fan and always take care of pets of friends, I also worked for 4 years in a pet-store. I love spending quality time with pets, playing, hanging out, and lounging, and I look forward to getting to know your pet!

I study full time at University of Amsterdam and I always try to be flexible to accommodate your schedule.

Introduction to my Pawshake services:

🏡 House visits:

Duration + 30 minutes.

I like to hear your routine with your pet so I can try to make them comfortable, while also keeping it fun! I will feed, clean and play. I can also make longer visits if preferred. I ask that you share instructions so I can safely and easily access your home, as well as provide the food and cleaning supplies in a convenient location. When house sitting, I offer these standards:

* Cats - spend quality time, clean litter tray

* Dogs - spend quality time, take the dogs on walks

* Price includes taking care of up to 5 pets, please inquire

* Clean up any messes made by pets

* Collecting mail and taking out the garbage (if required)

* I will send you pictures of your pet if you like to have updates

* For additional requests, please ask!

Dog walking:

Duration 30+ minutes.

I will pick up and drop off your friend. I love going to doggy parks on walks. I do not have a car, but I enjoy long walks! I ensure to keep your dog and your house safe (only going to areas you approve; locking doors during and after walks) during walks. I ask that you provide any walking equipment, such as the leash or doggy bags. In return I uphold these standards:

* Walking and spending quality time with your dog. Tell me their favourite places and I'm happy to take them there! Is there a favourite toy?

* If it is too cold or too hot to walk your dog, alternative forms of physical exercise or enrichment for your dog if you agree

* No off lead dog play unless allowed by you in appropriate areas

* I will send you pictures of your pet if you like to have updates

* For additional requests, please ask!

🛏 House sitting:

Duration 24+ hours.

I am happy to refer you to former owners which I have house sit (I'm new to Pawshake so my references are not here yet!). I can also perform household chores, to ensure you come home to clean house, as well as to a happy pet! I ask that you share instructions so I can safely and easily access your home. Please provide instructions for wifi as well as wifi, clean bedding and basic supplies like toilet paper for me and walking equipment for dogs. When house sitting, I offer these standards:

* Housekeeping - collecting mail, taking out the garbage, watering plants, keeping the house as clean as how you left it

* Securely locking the house

* I will be the only person at the house unless otherwise agreed

* Cats - spend quality time, clean litter tray

* Dogs - spend quality time, take the dogs on walks

* Price includes taking care of up to 3 pets, please inquire

* I will send you pictures of your pet if you like to have updates

* Clean up any messes made by pets

* For additional requests, please ask!

My Global Standards in Pet Care:

What you can expect:

* At least 1 x photo update per day/house visit

* Keeping in contact with you as the owner regarding any changes with the pet and if required bringing the pets to the vet when agreed to by the owner or in an emergency

Services for the Pet:

* Feeding the pet as required

* Access to freshwater

* The dog is able to go to the toilet regularly

* Basic medication (non-injectables)

* Pets are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up, and any signs of illness or injury are reported to the owner

* Yummy belly scratches for dogs/ relaxing head petting for cats

What I ask of you:

* Any behavioural issues of the pet are disclosed

* Any special requirements or instructions are written down to prevent any misunderstanding.

* Medication is properly labelled, clear dosage instructions and timings (if applicable)

* Emergency contact details are provided

* If feeding is required, enough pet food is provided

* If public transportation is required, a supplemental fee to cover that
