My love for dogs started with Freddy who offered me an exceptional friendship for 14 years. After losing him I have decided to doggy sit, resocialize and train (sheltered) dogs to be able to find their homes as soon as possible. In the end, there were not only fostered dogs who kept me company but also my neighbors, friends, neighbors friends,..., who trusted me with their fluffy friends. I have babysat or fostered all sorts of breeds and non-breeds and have no preference whatsoever as long as your dog is socialized and potty trained. Your dog will always be treated as a family member.

More about dogsitting:

- How does our day look like? We wake up around 8 for the first walk, followed by one at 12 PM, 5.30 PM, and 11 PM. Your dog will get plenty of exercise! We normally walk dogs in Rembrantpark and take them to Vondelpark on the weekends. We adapt the walking schedule based on your dog's usual agenda and also age, size/breed.

- With puppies, we have a schedule of playtime followed by rest time. We offer basic training for them for an additional fee.

- We take care of a maximum of 3 dogs at once to guarantee the quality of care.

- If your dog will be staying with another dog we will ask the owners to meet with us after which we will take your dogs to our house for an hour or so to observe how they behave in the house. If we babysit more than 1 dog we make sure they are never home alone.

- VIP dogsitting available: Is it the first time your dog will stay with other people than yourself? Is your dog perhaps not compatible with others (fear of other dogs, females in heat,...)? Is your dog a puppy and you would like us to teach him a new trick? Then we offer 2o1 care and dedicate all our time to your buddy ~ please message for the price

- Meet and greet: only required when the dog stays with us for a longer period of time (+3 days)

- We work from home and won't be leaving your dog alone. As mentioned, your dog is our family thus he comes with us everywhere!

Please note that every dog that comes to our house has to:

- have a valid passport;

- be pre-vaccinated and chipped;

- be protected against internal and external parasites (fleas, ticks, earthworms)

- be socialized and potty trained. if your dog has any behavioral or health issues please inform us beforehand!

Our house:

- our house is 85 square meter flat, located very close to Rembrantpark

- we have a small private garden upfront and a small backyard (which is fenced)

- our house is fully equipped for dogs (this means we own room separators, dog toys, different leashes, safety harnesses etc.). Dogs are normally allowed on the sofa and can sleep with us in the bedroom (on their dog beds).

About me:

My name is Tjasa, I am coming from Slovenia and I have been living in Amsterdam for the past couple for years. Having a background in psychology I am working here for an international company. My partner and I love dogs therefore we have decided to offer our love and care as doggy sitters as we are regular travelers and can not have a dog of our own at the moment.
