I am Gabija, 22, originally from Lithuania now based in Amsterdam. I have a deep affection for animals and I miss them in my everyday life now that I live far away from my parents and our pets!

I had a dog and cats most of my life. Kremas, my dear dog with who we grew up together, unfortunately passed away last year. But I still get to enjoy the company of my adorable and clumsy cat Uno whenever I visit my parents!

I joined Pawshake because I miss the company of my pets and would love to spend some time with the adorable animals of Amsterdam. I have most experience with cats and medium-sized dogs but I am attentive and can respond to any other animal's needs!

I know that all pets are different and have their own quirks and needs. There is no one-fits-all solution! Therefore I will take the time to get to know your pet and you and respond accordingly to the given situation, be it the length of walks, amount of affection, etc. I am usually described as having a calm energy and animals respond well to that! When first meeting an animal I keep necessary distance in order for them to get acquainted with me in their own time and know to read the signs.

I live in the very centre of Amsterdam therefore reaching you will be no problem. Of course I also have a bike!

If pet-sitting at your house I will also gladly take care of your plants, with your instructions. I really love plants and it's a pleasure for me to take care of them! My visits will last approximately 30 minutes to give me time to clean out the litter, give food or any other tasks at hand and then of course play with your pet if they respond well to that!

I work part-time Thursday and Friday therefore I am pretty flexible with my schedule. I can be available both weekdays and weekends throughout most of the day.

When taking care of your pets I will make sure to keep you updated by sending messages and photos of how's its going so you know your pets are in good hands! I am also available to meet beforehand.
