Hi everyone! I'm a 32 year old international development researcher and evaluator taking a few months off from work in order to travel, improve my Spanish, and see more of the world. I'm originally from London and have lived in Amsterdam from 2018. I also lived in Sydney for a year in my mid-20s. I speak English and French, and basic Dutch and Spanish. 

I was a very active Pawshake pet-sitter and dog-walker while I was doing my Master's in Amsterdam in 2018-2019, which I enjoyed immensely. I am currently on a short career break so I once more have the necessary flexibility in my routine to allow me to spend time with more 4-legged friends.

I like cooking, yoga, traveling, and animals. My family always had cats and dogs when I was growing up, from Kings Charles spaniels to Dobermans, so I'm familiar with (and love) animals of many different sizes and temperaments. At the moment they have Samoyed/golden retriever cross called Leon and a Tibetan terrier called Delilah. When my housing situation allows for it, I would love to adopt a dog from a local shelter. As mentioned above, I had a full roster of regular Pawshake dog-walking clients a few years ago which I had to scale back when I started full time work. I would also regularly pet and house-sit for these and other clients while they were away on holiday, and since then have also done holiday pet-sitting for families via Trusted Housesitter. Some of the dogs I regularly walked/pet-sat included a borzoi, a beagle, a labrador, a goldendoodle, and two dachshunds, all of a variety of ages and temperaments.

As I am taking a few months off so I can travel after leaving my most recent job in Amsterdam I have a flexible schedule with a lot of free time, so if you are looking for a flexible, reliable dog and cat lover to walk and pamper your beloved pets, get in contact.
