Hi there my name is Marit and I'm 21 years old. I grew up in the United States, both my parents are Dutch. I moved from Los Angeles, California to Utrecht to start nursing school. I am attending the Hogeschool Utrecht.

I would describe myself as an introverted person, I love to spend time at home usually knitting! When pets are staying over, I make sure to be home with them!

I am a big animal lover! I love caring for animals. I have over a year of experience sitting for pets. I love caring for them and taking them on walks throughout the day!One of the things I learned from my experience as a pet sitter is to try and use the same routine that you have at home, like their walking and eating schedule or where they sleep at night. If your pet sleeps in your bedroom or on your bed, they are more than welcome to sleep in my bedroom too!

I have a lot of foster experience with cats and kittens. I have fostered orphaned kittens for the local animal shelters for years. Bottle feeding them around the clock.

Sleepovers and day visits

I am offering short stay overnight stays for longer periods at a time. When you book a stay for your dog with me, I'll make sure I am home so your dog isn't alone. There are plenty of areas that are nice for walks. I only walk on-leash when pet sitting dogs for their own safety. We can schedule a meetup before the actual day visit or sleepover, to make you and your pup more comfortable with me and my apartment!

Home visits

Feel free to reach out regarding home visits. I am available to care for others animals as well. I am experienced administrating medication.

I have a roommate that is share the apartment with, we both love pets and enjoy having them around. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have for me, I look forward meeting you and your pet! 🐾
