Hello! 

I grew up surrounded by dogs and, having lived in The Hague for the past two years, I deeply miss being around animals. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I recently completed my Master's in International Relations at Leiden University. Now, with more free time, I am excited to get to know your pet! 

I have extensive experience walking dogs of all sizes, including my family pets, local neighborhood dogs, and those from my local animal shelter, where I have volunteered. Our current family dog, rescued from this shelter, had suffered severe emotional and physical trauma from previous owners. Through patience, care, and training, he has made a full recovery and is now the sweetest dog (the black lab in the pictures!). This experience taught me to be attuned to the emotional well-being and happiness of all dogs in my care. 

In addition to dog walking, I have experience in dog training. I completed a level 1 dog training course and have successfully trained my current and previous dogs to a high standard. This course, conducted at a dog shelter, allowed me to work with a range of temperaments, breeds, and ages, enhancing my skills in handling various dogs. 

My previous dogs, all rescues from shelters, include a lab mix, a labradoodle, and a beagle mix. 

In my spare time, I enjoy running, traveling, long walks along Scheveningen beach, and exploring new cafes.
