Hi! My name is Giulia; I am a freelance artist who's dying to meet you four-legged pal!

Since I moved out of my parents and to the Netherlands, I don't have the space nor permission of my landlord to own pets. There are no more wake up kisses to start my day off, nor the pitter-patter of paws storming down the hallway. My clothes are way too clean, and now I have to take myself on my own walks (Ew.).

It's very dull to live without pets, but since I don't have the structure to own one, why not help you with yours? You give me the pleasure of their good company, and a little bit of extra income in my monthly budget (I did say I am an artist).

1. Availability: Usually on most mornings and afternoons during weekdays + Wednesday evenings.

2. Services: I provide long or short walks, company for your pet, playtime and cuddles, no matter how big or small you pet is. I can administer oral medication for dogs, but not injections. I don't administer medication for cats (I got scars to prove why);

3. Home visits: I do daytime visits and, if allowed to bring my laptop and watercolor material, I am available to stay the entire day as I am currently working for myself. I'd say from 9:00 to 17:00, and bring my own lunch. But also shorter visits from 1 hour and onwards are possible. I can also water your plants and bring in any mail, and give attention to your pets throughout the day. I am currently not offering to stay overnight.

4. Walks: I guess that depends on your dog, how much do they need, their age, their size, etc. I can adjust to their needs, be it a short 30 mins to 2 hours. I'd also adjust my route to your dog's behavior; do they do well in the Delft centre, or somewhere green and less busy like Delftse Hout or Abtswoudse Bos? You let me know, and I will adjust. I always keep them on their leash, and ask for poop bags.

5. House sitting: Are my long home visits considered house-sitting? If so, yes, but I don't intend to stay after 17:30. :)

6. Hosting: Sadly I don't have the space nor permission for bringing in any pets to my home. :(

About me:

I have walked our own family dogs countless times throughout the years, and cat-sitted now and then for a few friends. I am sporty and can do long walks, I love to play with dogs and cats, I am patient and attentive and can play a lot, but I also respect when some pets just want to sit next to you in silence. I grew up with a very grumpy cat who taught me sometimes presence is all you need, and a golden retriever who just could not get enough love; so I learned to behave according to their personality.

I am also not afraid of big dogs nor cleaning up any messes, and picking up after them (its part of the deal!). I can say I have also gone through the experience of giving dogs oral medicine. Tricky, but also part of the deal. I usually try to hide it in a snack. Sadly I am not available for boarding any pets (landlord rules), but I am offering my services for short and long walls, and also ckecking in on them throughout the day. At the moment I work remotely, so I can also just bring my laptop and painting tools over and spend the day with them! It will be my pleasure.
