I don't know what life is like without dogs. I grew up in a house where we adopted street dogs and at times we had as many as 15.
I'm a dog lover, the mother of three beautiful ladies, one of whom lives in Brazil with her grandfather. Living with me, I have an 8-year-old pug, probably the sweetest dog of all, and a 5-year-old French bulldog. Pietra and Matilda are their names. Looking after dogs is part of my routine and something I love. I have over 15 years' experience and an endless list of little friends that I've taken in and treated with a lot of love.
With two dogs at home, I can host one large or two small or medium guest dogs at a time. They need to get along with other dogs.
Our routine includes a 30-minute morning walk and a shorter evening stroll, with flexibility to adjust as needed. Working from home allows me to provide constant supervision and my partner and I split the duties, so your dogs will always have assistance.
Pets are welcome to sleep indoors, mine can sleep in the couch so if this is something that yours can do too, then my couch is theirs! If needed, I can also take them with me to my bedroom. All arrangements can be done to guarantee they rest properly. I can also administer medication to pets if needed.
I live in a house with a yard in Spijkenisse and next to a huge park with lots of different areas that allow dogs off-leash. Our home features a secure, fenced backyard where pets can play safely.

Het spijt me dat ik geen positieve reactie kan schrijven. Ten eerste was het niet mogelijk om de eerste ontmoeting te regelen, maar Larissa verzekerde me dat alles perfect zou zijn. Dus we hebben geboekt.Het geplande weekend, Max zou van vrijdag tot zondag blijven, maar op zaterdag iemand hield het niet in de gaten en de deur stond open en Max ging naar huis - door de hele stad, wegen en kruispunten, het is een wonder dat hij niet werd overreden door een auto. Iemand zal zeggen, het kan gebeuren - , natuurlijk, maar het onaangename gevoel blijft . Het heeft ons veel stress gekost. Ik ben bang dat het nu moeilijk voor ons zal zijn om een nieuwe persoon te vertrouwen.
Het was geen leuk weekend en geen goede ervaring, dus ik raad het niet aan.

I took care of Joanna’s dog this weekend and followed all her instructions, but she didn’t mention that her dog frequently runs away and is hard to catch. He escaped by pushing past my friend when the door was barely open—we didn’t leave it open. We organized over 15 people to try and catch him, and during that time, her neighbors and son mentioned this happens often. With all our efforts, we made sure he got home safely.
I apologized and even returned her money for the day, but she is still blaming me, which I personally don’t feel comfortable with. If I know my dogs have some behavior issues, it’s not up to me to blame the petsitter for any problem that may occur regarding this. Problems can happen, but she needs to take into account everything that was done to ensure his safety. As a pet owner myself, I know how important this is.
Had she been transparent about his behavior, I would’ve taken extra precautions. I’ve cared for many dogs without issues, so it’s not fair to place the blame entirely on me. It’s a two-way street—my dogs have their own behavior issues, and I always make sure to inform anyone taking care of them. Pet owners need to be honest to ensure their pets are also safe.
