Robin

Hi! My name is Robin. I am a 22 year old girl who has had a dachshund for over 2 years. Our dog lives with my boyfriends parents now, because our jobs became too irregular to give him all the time and love he deserves. I really miss my dog, so i would love to sit other peoples dogs when I have days off and in the weekends. We raised our dog from 8 weeks old, so we know the in and outs of having a dog. We also did some dog training courses, what makes us more than capable to care for a dog and understand its behavior. I live with my boyfriend in an appartement with two floors. We have a 81m2 apartment and a 18m2 balcony which is closed off from the neighbors and safe for any size dog. The neighborhood is quiet and green. The Amsterdam Forest is super nearby, so it's easy to take them for a longer walk/walk off leash. We also have a lot of toys for dogs and a bench if necessary.

If you choose to let me sit your dog, he/she will be walked 4 times a day (30-60 min) in my neighborhood or in the Amsterdam forest. This will be at approximately 8 am, 12 pm, 6 pm and around 10 pm. It depends on the age and size of the dog how long the walk will be. The dog is allowed in the whole house, including the balcony. The dog is allowed to sleep anywhere, including the couch, in a basket or in a bench.

I do not give any dog training myself, nor do i do anything like grooming or clipping toenails. I have given my own dog oral medication before, so i know how to do that if necessary.

I can take one or two dogs at a time. Two dogs at a time is only possible if the dogs already know each other. I don't want to take the risk that they don't get along.

When my calendar says i am available, that means i will be home the whole day. I work parttime in a restaurant and part time from home. Only when I work from home I will be available for dog sitting (Tuesdays, Fridays and weekends mostly). I am a morning person, so I can be available from 7 in the morning if necessary.
