Hello hello! I am a Bachelor's student in Media and Culture at the UvA. I'm from Switzerland and the States, and am very much missing my sweet dog Bono, who currently gets to enjoy the fresh Swiss air with my parents back home. The thing I enjoy most after making films and music is walking around with a sweet pooch by my side! 

Having grown up with big dogs my whole life (my first dog being a Rhodesian Ridgeback!), I am accustomed to walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. The big open fields and mountains next to where I grew always allowed us to go on walks ranging from 15 minutes to multiple hour walks. In terms of pet sitting, I have quite a bit of experience. Funnily enough, I have only ever done pet sitting for big dogs, specifically German Shepherds, Labradors, and Bernese Mountain Dogs. I do also have experience with cat sitting, but have never had the chance of owning a cat of my own.

I have also volunteered in an ICU for sick puppies with Parvovirus in Austin, Texas, and have fostered many kittens, some quite literally needing to be nursed back to life after being abandoned. All that to say - I have experience with pets in all their states, and will very happily give my time, care, and energy to make sure they get to experience life to the fullest. 

I want to be a dog walker for multiple reasons. Firstly, I realise from experience that these outings are always the highlight to a dog's day. The joy expressed after a spritely walk around is unmatched, and undeniably brings me so much joy in return. I realise that not everyone gets the chance to accompany their dogs on their daily outings - and luckily enough, I am here to take your dog out for a breath of fresh air, and bring them back in the best of moods!
