Hello :)
I've had the privilege of growing up with cats, dogs and other pets of friends and family; my father spent a large portion of his life dedicated to animal behavioural psychology - specifically in dogs, and over time has passed on a lot of his knowledge to me, so I've naturally developed a strong interest and connection to my own and others' dogs very early on.
Over the years I've volunteered in dog shelters, trained in dog agility and have, on more than one occasion, served as the unofficial dog-sitter of the family.
As for now, I'm a 21-year-old student pursuing a master's degree in diplomacy and politics, staying with my family in Wassenaar for the summer. I continue to dog-sit for my parents, and I'm a well-seasoned dog walker, sitter, companion (the list goes on).
I'd be happy to devote some of my time to your dog, whether it's a walk, a home visit or a stay! I like to abide by the same practices I have with my own pets - that includes plenty of time outdoors/in the garden (if possible), some time spent on cognitive games and light exercise, but also lots of rest and physical contact. Obviously, the individual dog's needs and your wishes will be prioritised! I usually carry hypoallergenic treats with me on walks and for use at home - do let me know whether it's appropriate to use with your dog.
