Dear Dog Parents,
First of all, congratulations on your furry kids—you’ve already made one of the best decisions of your life! 😊
My name is Málna Galambos. I’m 25 years old, originally from Hungary, and I relocated to The Hague last year with plans to stay long-term. Unfortunately, I had to leave my two beloved family dogs, Bono and Tapasz, with my parents, and since then, I’ve felt a big void every day. Since I was a little girl, I've always had a special connection with dogs; they’ve helped me in countless ways throughout my life. I genuinely believe that all dogs are therapy dogs, and we can never be thankful enough for them. Back home, my partner’s family has two large dogs with special care needs (an Alaskan Malamute, Bacardi, and a mixed-breed, Lulu), whom we’ve often looked after with pleasure.
I’m the kind of person who gets excited whenever I see a dog—whether on the street, in a movie, on a billboard, or anywhere else. I could sing the praises of these wonderful creatures 24/7!
I’m an active and positive person who loves spending time in nature, so I thought, why not combine that with helping someone else by walking their dog? Let’s combine joy with necessity—it’s definitely a win-win!
I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources and have been working as a recruiter for four years. Currently, I’m taking a little career break to explore my true calling and profession (which might be animal-assisted therapy). This means I’m available almost any time to spend time with your furry friend(s) and lend a helping hand. I can promise that what I offer isn’t just a simple walk—it’s much more than that! A memorable playdate with ball throwing, running, swimming in the sea, playing with other dogs, or even exploring the city. I also offer dog sleepovers at my place, or I can come to yours. I’ll do my best to adapt to you and your dog’s needs.
I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, and I’m happiest when I’m around them. Whether it’s a Cocker Spaniel, a Rottweiler, or a rescued mixed-breed, I adore them all and can promise I’ll take care of them as if they were my own! 😊
I'm a caring, empathetic, and easy-to-communicate-with person, so I believe I can be a real help to you in the long term!
I live with my husband in Scheveningen, just a 10-minute walk from the beach in one direction and Scheveningse Bosjes in the other. Dog walks will be at least 30 minutes, but time flies in good company, so I predict even more quality time in the fresh air. 😊
Our apartment is very spacious (90m²) and bright, with a nice balcony and plenty of space for play, relaxation, and sunbathing. It’s located on the 3rd floor, but we have an elevator, so if you have an elderly dog, he or she won’t have to climb the stairs. 😊 We’re happy to share our entire apartment with your furry kid unless you wish to have specific house rules (e.g., no access to the kitchen or bedroom, etc.).
My husband is a freelancer, so he can also plan his working hours flexibly. This means we can share the responsibility of dog sitting and provide full-time daycare.
I’ll keep you updated regularly and send you check-ins, so you can sit back and relax, knowing your dog is in good hands! 🤗🪄
Please feel free to reach out any time. I'm happy to answer any questions and look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon!
Groetjes,
Málna 🐾
I had an incredible experience leaving my dog with Málna. She was extremely attentive, she sent me photos of how my dog was doing, she took her for walks, played with her and gave her attention. When I went to pick up my daughter, it was clear that she had enjoyed staying there. She even went to say goodbye to the nanny, which I thought was incredible. So, when I need her again, she will definitely be the person I choose to take care of my four-legged daughter.
