I decided to become a dog sitter because of my profound love for animals, especially dogs. Growing up with my large chocolate Labrador, Bodro, I developed a deep understanding and appreciation for their unique needs and personalities. My experiences with Bodro have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and responsibility when caring for dogs. As an 18-year-old Italian student in my first year of business studies at Maastricht University, I find that dog sitting offers a perfect balance to my academic life. It allows me to engage in a fulfilling activity that brings joy and relaxation, while also providing a valuable service to pet owners. Dog sitting is not just a job for me; it's a passion. I enjoy every moment spent with dogs, from long walks in the park to playful interactions and quiet companionship. My commitment is to ensure that every dog under my care feels loved, safe, and happy. By becoming a dog sitter, I also get the opportunity to meet and connect with different dogs and their owners, enriching my life with diverse experiences. It's a rewarding way to combine my love for dogs with a meaningful and responsible activity.
I also have 3 cats that I’ve had since I was a child. They’ve been a beloved part of my life for many years.
Moving from Italy this year, I can't imagine my life without my furry companions! The thought of leaving them behind is unimaginable, as they've been a constant source of comfort and joy. Their presence has always been a warm, reassuring part of my daily routine, and the idea of a new place without them feels incomplete.
