Available to care for cats, dogs and farm animals at your home in and around Kamerik, Kockengen, Woerden, Wilnis area. Available for short or long stay house sitting from 2-nights up to 6months. Can also care for farm animals such as chickens, birds, ducks, horses and sheep.

Growing up on a farm in Australia with cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, birds, horses and sheep, I spent a lot of time playing with and caring for animals. I learned young to tune into animals, observe and respect their individual personalities and their wishes for space or closeness.

Eleven years ago I emmigrated to the Netherlands. As I travel back to Australia each year for a few months I have chosen not to get a cat or dog myself. I have taken on a garden block near Kamerik and adore being there in the peace and quiet between the farms and fields.

In Utrecht, where I live in a small apartment, I have made friends with as many of the cats in my neighbourhood as possible and am delighted when one runs over to say hello. After cat sitting for two months for a couple who travelled to New Zealand, and for different friends with cats, I've realised how much joy it brings me to be in the company of animals, to get to know them and care for them as if they were my own.

To allow me to be at my garden block more often without the back and forth travel, and to more often enjoy the company of animals, I've joined Pawshake to look for petsitting homestays close to Kamerik.

I hope to meet a number of animals and their owners where we have a click, and that I can be a regular visitor.
