Being from South Africa, we are used to having a wide range of animal life around us. We love animals and simply love spending some time with them. We were priveleged to have a beautiful Husky as part of our household for 15 years. Unfortunately she passed away mid 2022. We have a lot of love to share and look forward to welcoming all sorts of doggy guests.

My wife, Sonja, holds a Ph.D. in Zoology and has been very interested in all animals her entire life. I am an aspiring trainer and am focussing on building healthy relationships between dogs and their owners. If you want a relaxing atmosphere for your dog, you will find it in our home.

We live in the beautiful Gaasperplas. It is a very large park with more than 15km of hiking routes to walk and enjoy. We enjoy hiking and part of the daily experience your dog will have will be enjoying a nice walk in a beautiful area with a lot of smells to enjoy.

We have been hosting a number of doggy friends. Mostly we prefer Medium/Large breeds. Check out our photos to see some of our guests.

Although we do not currently offer pick-up and drop-off, we will gladly meet you at the Gaasperplas metro station to shorten the trip.
