Stella

Hello. My name is Stella and I’m an international student studying here in Amsterdam. I speak English and Finnish fluently, as I am half Finnish and half Canadian.

Currently, I do not have any pets here, however, my family has a cat back in Finland, which I miss daily. I decided to apply to be a pet sitter in order to get to hang out with cool, loving animals while earning some money. Throughout my life, I have had fish, 5 hamsters, and a cat. Additionally, my family and I often take care of our friends' or family's pets. We have had approximately 15 different dogs stay with us while their families were travelling, as well as we have cat-sitted their cats. My ultimate goal for the future would be to own multiple pets of all ages. I want to be able to offer animals a wonderful and stress-free life.

Since I was a young girl, I was very fond of animals and longed to be with them. I have been in multiple animal clubs where I learnt about different animals, as well as had hobbies such as horse riding. I truly enjoy being with animals more than with humans.

I am able to offer a plethora of services such as grooming pets, keeping them company, and ever caring for your place if it is a home visit. I do not have extensive experience in training nor have I administered much medication to pets, however, I am a quick learner and easily taught. When considering dogs and their need to be walked, I am able to provide the animal with as much outside time as necessary. I am an athletic girl and willing to remain active if the pet so desires. As I am a student, I do have some scholarly obligations, such as attending school a few days a week. My days are quite short, therefore easy to adapt to the needs of your pets.

Additionally, when in a house-sitting situation, I will treat your place with the utmost respect and maintain it in the condition it has been left in. I will take extensive security measures and never bring outsiders in. For day visits, I am always available in the evenings and on weekends. Mondays and Wednesdays are completely free as well.

I am able to care for all ages of pets and will always take into account their restrictions and boundaries. Hope to get to help care for your pets too!!
