I have extensive experience with a wide range of animals, going back to my early childhood. Over the years, I’ve cared for an aquarium, a canary, a tortoise, a guinea pig, and several dogs. When I was a child, I considered becoming a veterinarian, but I couldn’t bear the thought of being responsible for losing a life. However, during my bachelor’s degree, I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year.

Two years ago, I rescued and cared for a cat with a broken leg. I paid for his treatment, and afterward, a close friend of mine adopted him. Unfortunately, I recently lost my dog in April—she was a 17-year-old dachshund who passed away from kidney disease. I miss her dearly, but I’m not ready to bring another pet into my life just yet.

I’ve recently moved in with my boyfriend, and while I’m not ready for a new pet of my own, I would love the opportunity to care for other animals in the meantime.
