I live with my husband in a 3 story terrace home in Apeldoorn, Zuidbroek.

We are both originally from Sydney, Australia & have been living in The Netherlands for my husbands career since 2016.

I work from home with my own flexible hours and I travel for my husbands work as his tour manager and media person but I block out those dates in the calendar once confirmed so I don't need to disappoint anyone but this is why I don't usually book too many months in advance.

I grew up with cats, I enjoy catsitting & I used to foster for a foundation called 'Mission Pawssible', so I have years of experience & understanding of cat behaviour.


FROM MY HOME:

Your kitty will have full access to my entire 3 story new terrace home (besides one room where I will need to hide my vulnerable plants haha) otherwise they are welcome to sleep & explore wherever they like. Downstairs is the living/dining, kitchen & a toilet. The second level is my bedroom, a guest bedroom, small room as a dressing room & the bathroom. The attic space is our office & laundry area.

I only accept 1 booking at a time in my home with a maximum of 3 cats per booking, to avoid any conflict or unnecessary stress for your kitty/s and also to allow me to focus enough of my time one each kitty with cuddles and playtime.

I have a nice sized fenced backyard, but it is not cat proofed. So it is best that your kitty/s do not go outside while staying with me. But if they are used to going outside with a harness or in a cat pram, I am happy to take them into my yard to enjoy fresh air if that makes them happy if you like.

Feeding - I will feed your kitty/s as per their normal feeding times to keep them happy, as I know kitties love their routine. You will of course need to provide enough food & treats for the duration of their stay. I will make sure they always have clean water I will refill twice a day.

Litter - You must bring their own litter box & enough litter for the duration of their stay. I will clean their litter box at least twice a day to keep your kitty happy and will change the entire litter depending on the duration of the stay which will be discussed.

Playtime! - As much as they like :-) I go by their needs but what I usually do minimum is see if they want to enjoy some play in the morning while having my coffee & at night especially before I go to sleep so they release enough energy for my sleep time.

Cuddles & attention - As much as they like! So they feel happy & relaxed. Nothing beats working or relaxing with kitty cuddles!

Any signs of illness or injury are of course reported right away, but this has never occured during cat sitting. Only once during fostering over a year ago, but they arrived in my care already sick which I treated right away and he was fine.


FROM YOUR HOME:

Duration per visit: Minimum 30 minutes - 1 hour

Time: To be discussed & agreed upon

During each visit:
- Feeding & fresh water
- Cleaning of litter box
- Playtime if they want to
- Cuddles & attention how they prefer, so they feel happy & loved
- Any signs of illness or injury are reported right away of course
- I can check your mail box in your front door/in your yard to leave in one place
- I can also water any plants you need
- I can do cleaning if required for an additional charge (cleaning needs and pricing to be discussed and agreed upon before booking)
Any other required services, please let me know to pre discuss and agree upon before accepting booking
