My name is Barbara, I am 28 years old and I moved to Amsterdam from Rome, Italy.

I got my first cat Ivy in 2019 while I was living alone in Rome, and it was thanks to her that I realised how deep my love for animals was, especially cats. A love that grew even stronger with the adoption of Leonida (Leo), the little newcomer adopted here in the Netherlands.

I discovered the Pawshake app as a user, so I know what it's like to trust someone to take care of my beloved cats, I know what the worries and anxieties of those who foster their cats are, and that's why I decided to join the app as a pet sitter as well.

I have experience with both found and home-born cats.

I started caring for cats from Italy and would like to continue here in Amsterdam. In my experience I have administered eye drops, pills, syrups and gum gel.

I work from home as a freelancer so it is easy for me to organise home visits once or twice per day.

I am a punctual, sociable and precise girl who looks forward to keeping your pets company and letting you have a peaceful holiday knowing that you are entrusting your loved ones in good hands :) Thank you!
