Hello, my name is Abigail and I am  a 23-year-old Master’s student. I moved to Amsterdam last August, leaving my beloved family dog back home and missing her every day since. I have allways loved animals and as a child I already was taking care of my own budgies, guinea pigs and rabbits as well as the family dog and cats. Since I moved out from home I miss my beloved furry friends a lot. Every time I visit my Mom, I cannot wait to see Holly again and take her out on walks again.

I am amazed by the positive energy and good mood that dogs just transfer over to me like some superpower. I would call it my daily dose of serotonin because no matter how gloomy the day might have been, it will always brighten up after some doggy-bonding-time!

During my Bachelor studies I would walk someone else's dog, Penny, she was amazing and I absolutely spending time and building a connection with her! I often say that she was the one that got me through the dire covid lockdown times when my walks with her where one of the few opportunities to leave the house. Even though she was not my dog, I felt so close to her and cherished every minute we spent together. I would love to be able to do something similar here!

Last year, I also got the chance to look after Holly all by myself for a month, when my mother was going on a Holliday. I really loved going jogging with her in the mornings and just having her around me all the time! This was a great experience of what it would be like to have my own dog one day, which I really want to! But sadly I will have to wait until I completed my studies before I can provide the suitable home for my furry life partner.

Until then I would love to still spend as much time as possible with these adorable animals and if I can at the same time help out people who have a busy schedule or other reasons they might not be able to always walk their dog(s), it's a double win!

I can understand that it might be a bit scary to leave your beloved in the hands of a stranger. I will promise that I will treat with the same love I have for Holly and Penny as every dogs heart is equally special for me! For the first walk (free of charge), I would like to for us to go together so that you can show me everything I need to know about your sweetheart and also so that you can get to know me and can feel relaxed knowing that your dogs is in safe hands when I then walk him/her by myself.

On the weekend I am very flexible and can basically do any time and during the week could do morning walks from 7-8am or afternoon/evening walks from 6pm.
