Hey I'm Chrissy. I am a Canadian living in Amsterdam for the last two years. Growing up in rural Ontario, I spent my childhood on a hobby farm (cats, dogs, horses, goats and chickens) and lived in London before moving here.

I grew up loving animals and when I left home, I started fostering rescue dogs via https://www.saveourscruff.org/ (including a 2 legged dog in a wheelchair once) while I lived in Toronto, to get them socialised to be permanently adopted. I regularly look after friends' dogs/cats while they are on holiday since being in Amsterdam because I miss having my own.

I work in tech sales and make my own schedule and work from home whenever I want, so I am very flexible throughout the day for walks and pet sitting.

I live in the Geuzenkade complex in De Baarsjes, which includes a leash-off area 20m from my apartment, and steps from Erasmus Park. 

While I am new to Pawshake, I can give references from Save Our Scruff and friends who I pet sit for.

Service that I offer:

Home visits:
- will drop in for an hour for a bit of play and care, or I can work from your apartment for the full day
- I can water plants and bring in the mail

Dog walking:
- Walks are 1 hour
- I can take your dog for a walk in your area if there is a nearby Park (usually Erasmus Park or Rembrandt Park)

Home boarding and daycare:

- Only taking 1 booking at a time, so only your dog (or 2 if you if you have 2, but no new dogs in the mix)
- I have a small outdoor balcony for fresh air, but will take your dog for a walk in the leash off area just across the street from my apartment
- 2 walks per day
- I will work from home when I am on a job so the dog will have me home all day
- I am very flexible with work and my calendar is up to date so I can accommodate your booking with my work schedule always
- pets will have supervision all the time
- I have a 50 sqm apartment with a small balcony and live alone with no other pets
- guest pets can bring their own bed
