Sabrina

My name is Sabrina Touijer. I am a 20 year old studying at the university of Amsterdam. I have been surrounded by animals by entire life. Growing up I have had three dogs, 15 cats, 4 birds, and 14 turtles. I know it may sound like an absurd number, but my love for animals is remarkable. I would feed the stray animals in my neighboorhood and eventually adopted them as my own. Every pet I have ever had was previously a stray animal that I took in. I have had deep empathy and care for animals from a very young age that has only grown stronger as I have gotten older. In middle school and highschool, I spent a lot of my time volunteering at local animal shelters, as well as hosting fundraisers to support these shelters to continue providing care and safety for animals that do not have a home. I have also taken care of many pets of my friends and family whilst they were away on vacation. The experience I have gathered by owning my own pets, taking care of pets from family and friends, as well as volunteering at local animal shelters has allowed me to understand the considerable committment and care that is required of a pet. Living in student accomodation where pets are not allowed, I have found myself (for what feels like the first time in my life) not being surrounded my animals. I want to continue helping animals around whether it be for dog walks, or simply being company for them :)

I can provide dog walking (anywhere between 10 minutes up to an hour depending on your preferences), home visits (up to 5 hours), hygienic care and cleaning of pets, and the administration of oral medication. I am usually available in the evenings and afternoons on working days, and afternoons on the weekends.
