Hi! I'm Nika, an astronomer based in Groningen with a deep love for animals. I have been caring for pets my whole life, whether it’s my own two furry companions, Anubis and Pastis, or the many pets I've had the pleasure of looking after for friends, family, and through trustedhousesitters.com while living abroad.

I have experience taking care of cats, dogs, and parrots. Each one brings its unique personality and needs, and I truly enjoy the opportunity to bond with them. I'm committed to ensuring that every pet in my care feels loved, safe, and well-cared for while their humans are away.

I am avilable mostly in the mornings and evenings. I can administer medication and can do basic training. As my work is flexible, my availability and duration of the visit can always be discussed. I can also water plants, welcome packages or similar chores while you're away.

The location, duration, and the intensity of the dog activity depends on the activity level of the dog and their social preference. While some might be happy with a long walk in the park, some might prefer a chill walk in an isolated and calm area. My building has a big garden, so we can always throw a ball here, as no leash is needed.
