Hi, we're Selma & Wieke! 🐾🌱

I (Selma) grew up in what we lovingly called 'a petting zoo without goats'. Dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, rats, .. you name an animal smaller than a goat and we probably had it at some point or another.
Animals have been part of my life since before I was born, and honestly, I don't know how to live without them. My friend and sitting partner Wieke is the same way. What started as a lifelong passion became a profession for both of us.

Together we bring

• Two level 4 degrees in animal care (hands-on, practical, highest level)
• Selma's Bachelor's in Animal Welfare & Management
• 10+ years of professional experience on (social) farms between us
• Experience with pretty much all farm animals, horses, all housepets, reptiles and even wildlife 🦔
• Wieke is especially great with (complex) dogs and can even assist with lambing
• Selma has lots of hands on experience with farm animals and horses. Can also ride horses.
• We know how to administer medication and handle special care animals
• Your summer garden is safe with us 🌿🍅 We are currently in our second season of our own vegetable garden and Selma has a full year working expercience on a permaculture farm.

We have a small campervan and love to travel around, which makes us flexible and available around Europe! We are Netherlands based and both have a dog, who would love to come with us. Dino has a loving nature and Ziggy grew up on farms so is used to all kinds of animals. Clear communication both around our and your animals is important to us, so the dogs will only ever join with homeowner permission!

We're not just dogsitters, we are allround professionals who happen to love what we do. Your animals, your garden and your overall home will be in good hands. 🐴🐈🐓🌱🥕

So, what we offer:
- Longer term animal-, house- and farm sitting on your location, anywhere in europe. Possibilty to stay in our own (pretty self-sufficient) campervan
- Longer term animal-, house and farm sitting in the Netherlands on your location
- Short term animal care close to our location; dogwalking, special needs cat-sitting, daily visit to your horses or garden, etc.
- Short and long term sleepovers of all kinds of animals in my home, (except dogs).
