Hiya!
I am a 25 year old animal lover! I am currently a part time student, and part time working remotely from Groningen. Love animals and would love to love yours too!
In terms of my experiences with animals: I have always loved animals and have taken care of various dogs and cats through this website (for periods both short and long). I have been a pet sitter through other platforms where I have also gained experience. I have taken care of both young dogs and old dogs. I have administered daily medication (pill) to a cat during its stay. I’m also open to taking care of more than one pet; if you see I’m already booked, feel free to message me anyway and we can see whether the pets are compatible to be hosted together.
In my current situation, it is not suitable I keep a pet, however I see Pawshake as a great way to still spend time with pets despite not being able to have one for myself. I am really keen to add more experiences!
I can offer 3 dog walks during the working week and nice long walks during the weekend ;) if you have a younger dog, we can also arrange for 4 dog walks as required. During the working week, I can offer a short one (15min) during the morning and night but a longer one (30min-1hour) in the evenings.
Environment: I am available for home boarding!
I am staying with my boyfriend in an apartment with 1 bedroom plus a living room/kitchen area. Because we live in an apartment, the neighbors are close;) for that reason, we can't take dogs that bark/whine uncontrollably e.g at night.
There is enough space for your pet’s bed, toys, food, etc. Your pet’s bed can be placed in the living room or in the bedroom depending on what your pet prefers. We are 10 mins on foot from the noorderplantsoen. We will have plenty of time to spend together with your pet! Between my boyfriend and I during this hybrid work-from-home situation, there is always someone at home to give your pet maximal attention!
Contact me and we will figure it out! Looking forward to any offers! :)
FAQ:
(Q) How late can I pick up my pet after a period of logeren?:
(A) after your pet’s logeren period is over, you can pick up your pet the next day before 12PM. If you’d like to pick up your pet after 12PM, then book 1 day of dagopvang to cover the last day of care.
(Q) Can I make recurring/well in advance bookings?:
(A) unfortunately predetermined bookings on set day(s) each week do not fit well with my irregular schedule. Being booked on a case-by-case basis, and close to the booking dates works best. Since I am working and studying part time, I sometimes need to shuffle things around to make it work, so recurring bookings do not give me that flexibility.
(Q) Do you take young dogs under 1 years old?
(A) At this moment, we won't be sitting younger dogs who aren't house-trained.
Sandra and her partner looked after my dog Harriet for a day before a longer boarding at the end of the month. Sandra had great communication and made a really positive impression from the get go. Both Sandra and her partner took on my requests and were great with Harriet. Would definitely recommend.
Sandra is very well listening and dog-sensitive. The intake was perfect to get an impression for me and to introduce my dog. In every circumstance it’s valuable, useful. Your dog will be in very good hands and that made me relaxed. My dog was very glad to be with her. And Sandra was happy too. I couldd feel and signal her love for dogs. Any time in contact exists connection.
