Chelsea

Hello, I'm Chelsea! I relocated to the Netherlands from South Africa in 2019 with my husband, and we currently live in Voorburg. I have spent all of my 29 years on this Earth surrounded by animals. I grew up with dogs, cats and a rabbit as pets, and also rode horses from the young age of five. I spent my university years house-sitting for friends and family with dogs and cats so I have a lot of experience with different breeds and consider myself very reliable and trustworthy.

I don't have any pets of my own in the Netherlands yet, but hope to get cats very soon! Can you help me get my animal fix in the meantime? I'm a real cuddler, but understand that not all pets love to be fussed over. I'm very sensitive to the fact that, just like humans, animals have their own personalities too. And I enjoy every minute of getting to know all their little quirks!

I would love to help you out with your dogs and/or cats in whatever way I can. I'm available for dog walking and home visits for feeding and check-ins, preferrably within a 10min cycle from my house (2274 AN). I have an additional passion for plants and will happily water your leafy babies if pets aren't the only living things that need attention in your home.

Dog walking: I will collect your pooch from their home. Depending on their age, energy levels and owner-preference, I can take them out for a relaxing stroll or a slightly more energetic play in a nearby park (if one is available). I will also ensure that your home is securely locked up before and after the walk, and try get rid of any unwanted dirt that we may have acquired while getting some fresh air. Including collection, this service can last up to 45 minutes depending on travel time to get to your home.

Home visits: I am available in the morning and evening (before and after work) for home visits. These can last anywhere up to an hour. Depending on the nature of your pet(s) as well as your preference, I will spend some quality time with them, groom them and clean out their litter boxes, if necessary. I will, of course, ensure that your home is securely locked up behind me when I leave.
