Fleurine

Hi!

My name is Fleurine and I'm 23 years old. I graduated from University College Utrecht and now live in Zuilen. I work in Marketing, which gives me a lot of time at home since a lot of the work is online. I am an active person, and enjoy jogging and going for long walks. I'm Dutch, but grew up abroad my whole life so I'm a native English speaker as well.

As for my previous pet experience! I had a German Shepard mix for 14 years, her name was Lulu and she was a solid part of my family. I also had a hamster for a brief amount of time. My Mum now has a golden retriever called Pip (4 years old), but since they live in Venlo, I don't get to see Pip nearly enough! This leaves quite the puppy sized hole in my heart, which I am hoping to fill by petsitting for others! Pip is very energetic so I'm used to running after dogs and trying to control the slightly wilder one's, whilst my other dog Lulu was far calmer and preferred a nice stroll followed by a tummy rub.

I absolutely love dogs, of all sizes and breeds. If I pass a dog in the street I can't help but stop and play with it - it's an addiction!

I live in a spacious apartment with my boyfriend. He is also a HUGE pet lover, so your dog will be spoiled for attention. Both of our work schedule vary and are highly flexible, so there will always be someone home with our guest. Please note that our house is one staircase up, so consider if your pet can handle this - it isn't steep at all and most don't struggle. Our guest can either sleep in the living room to have some privacy and room to move a lot. But we know not all dogs prefer that, so we also have enough space in the bedroom for a dog bed - being away from home can be hard!

We have a little terrace attached to our house, which gets sunshine all day long. It is fenced around, but we will also always be present if it is open. Your pup could enjoy some nice sunbathing and always get a bit of fresh air when they desire it. Your dog will always be walked three times a day (unless otherwise requested). Around the corner from my house is a large park where I would take your pet to run around and exercise.

I could throw a ball for it there, or simply stroll around. My main priority would always be your pets safety and comfort, ensuring that they get enough time outside, enough movement and enough love! The last one definitely will not be an issue!
