– I'm only taking care of dogs I meet beforehand –

My name is Alexandra, I moved from Germany to Utrecht in March this year. Growing up with dogs, I miss those magical furry creatures on a daily basis. In my pictures, you can see me taking care of my dad's dogs and some of my friends dogs and cats. :)

I'm used to and adore bigger and medium sized breeds like German Shepherds (I grew up with those), Huskys, Labradors, Silken Windsprite, Australian Shepherds etc. but also (rescue) mixed-breeds and dogs of all shapes and sizes (one has to love them all, right?).

I adopted my own dog, George, from a Shelter in Serbia earlier this year. Our progress is going great and we'll be attending some dog lessons from April onwards, after I interned at the very same dog school last year, aspiring to become a dog trainer myself.

Since I adopted George, I only took care of a befriended Dog, which worked out pretty well. George has been used to be around many dogs, so he's in general very friendly. Since he's pretty excitable, he might be too energetic for your dog, tho. I would like to meet up for a walk first, before checking if I can take care of your dog (for a few hours or days).

About my circumstances: George and a are living in a 66sm apartment on the fourth floor with elevator, securely closed balcony and close to many parks. We walk at least three times a day, two longer walks and one to two shorter ones. 

I'm working as a Marketing Specialist, recently two days a week from the office, but now only for the mornings.

Even though I'm adoring all dogs, not everybody is a match and trust has to be established first. So I would like to meet you and your lovely pet before we agree on petsitting. Now with having George, it's even more important that the dogs get along.
