Hello! I am Indian and my husband is Dutch. We live in Utrecht. I am a marketer by profession who also loves animals, especially dogs. I've been a mum to three doggos of my own.

I run A 'Doggie Day care and Boarding' from our house in Utrecht. You can find my work on Instagram: wetnoseandtailwags.

I am a patient, fun & motivated person to whom animals bring a lot of joy & I guess it's mutual! And a strong advocate of the fact that animals are extremely smart, determined, sensitive and not to be taken for granted :)

I am here to help foster or take care of Dogs for people who are away for a while or just need help. In the last year or two, a lot of people have got new pets (young dogs/cats) and are still learning how to bring them up! I am here to also help new pet parents learn a bit more about their lovely Pooch and make a difference, making them both feel more connected to each other! Prior to this I have successfully worked with animal shelters & families for Dogs, especially with behavioural issues, puppies & older dogs of any breed, size or gender! 

1. What to expect from me:

I'm well versed with the kind of exercise & feeding routines pets may have & I'm also equally focussed on discipline, hygiene & affection accordingly. I can also help dogs with behaviour issues, calm down, get lots of exercise and help train them! I can provide and take care of any Medication (including injectibles) 

2. About our House:

Our house is in Lombok in Utrecht. For older dogs there is no problem of climbing stairs. We have a small backyard, lots of parks & the waterfront around; Especially -

- 'Molen Ster' or Molen Park 

- Park Oog in Al

- Pebble Street (cremerstraat) 

- Majella Park

for the dogs to interact/play with other dogs Or just have a lovely long walk in... You can check the location(s) on Google map! For puppies, our house is Puppy proof that provides a happy warm and cool place (depending on the weather), there is no chance of escape and there is a lovely little backyard to play fetch in :)

3. Day Care Routine for Dogs staying with me:

Walking the dog(s) or caring for them at our house is highly preferred by me. I do 4 dog walks per day with 1 long morning walk to one of the parks to socialise the pets with other pets and people (45-60 min); And 1 long evening playtime walk. We take our regular dogs to the Woods or the beach every once in a while too.

4. Do I keep multiple pets?

Depending on the health/breed & behaviour of dogs, I do keep multiple dogs at a time. The dogs will be together only when I know they are friendly and are a good match. In all cases dogs get along very well and since I have repeat clients, most times I have multiple Dogs. But it goes without saying that Only when I know my regular Dogs and a New dog by his/her behavior, I take in another one! 

Until now, It has been very healthy & Happy and good for them to socialise with each other in a neutral environment; Learn to share, respect each other's space and learn new tricks :)

Especially when puppies stay with older dogs, it's very good learning for them 😊

5. Treating Dogs with anxiety, eating issues or other health issues:

I am very open to having Dogs with any anxiety, fears or health issues! With dogs like these I prefer to have them with me without other dogs for a couple of days, so we can both connect with each other

6. Supervision, Sleeping & Moving around:

The Dogs will not be left alone for more than 60-90 min. They are not leashed or tied up, they get a free area to move around. They sleep in their bed in our living room, we keep the temperature regulated for the pet's comfort! I work from Home & therefore can spend plenty of time with the Pets. Please check my Availability on my calendar...We have no kids or other pets in our house  

7. What if my Dog is not castrated/In Heat

In case your dog falls in this category, please feel free to let me know so I can make arrangements accordingly, like not have a girl who's in heat or a boy dog that will be a trouble maker for another dog :)
