Margaret

Hello! My name is Margaret and I am a master’s student at Utrecht University. I’ve lived in the Netherlands for 3 years now, but unfortunately ik spreek geen Nederlands. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have cared for pets of my own for most of my life. Even since I was little I would help my mom volunteer at our local animal shelter.

I do not have as many pets here in the Netherlands as I did in the U.S. so this is the main reason I have signed up for this service, just to be around animals a bit more.

I am a patient person with people and animals and understand that we all have boundaries. So I don’t mind taking a bit of extra time to get to know your furry friend. With my cat at home, I talk to them quite a bit because I always find it makes them more comfortable and calms them down so I look forward to having great conversation with yours.

I don’t mind cleaning the litter box while I am visiting.

I am also very good at giving medication, so this is also possible.

If you can’t make it to the vet for any reason I don’t mind taking your fur baby to the vet and keeping you updated the whole time. This will cost a bit extra because of transportation and extra time.
