Hello pet owners! My name is Sophie, and I am a 23 year old student, who has just arrived from Australia. I am a Dutch-Australian dual citizen, however currently my Dutch is still limited. I have just commenced my Masters in animal behaviour and animal welfare at Utrecht University and hence I can offer my services both around multiple regions in the Netherlands. I am available around the Delft region (where I spend most of my free time with my boyfriend) but also in Apeldoorn and Utrecht. I am the daughter of an equine veterinarian and my extensive experience with animals is demonstrated in the skills section. I have worked with alpacas, primates, and primarily with horses.
I am motivated to becoming a petsitter due to the menagerie of beloved pets I have left at home. I miss them enormously! Prior to arriving in the Netherlands, I had two dogs, one lizard, one bird, one cat and two horses at home. I am extremely comfortable with all aspects of their care, many of these animals had been with me since I was a small child. Previously, I have owned tropical fish and a range of farm animals. I can offer a range of services. I am a responsible student, and also babysat and housedat during my entire Bachelor's degree, so I understand how to take care of someones's home and pets.
Services: I can offer a range of services, and precise needs can be organised with my directly. These include home visits, overnight stays and dog walking.
Pet sitting - house visits can be arranged one or two times daily, depending on your needs. Services include feed and water, walking, cleaning of tank/cage, giving the pet attention, grooming and bathing.
Overnight stays in your home are possible.
Dog walking - typically, I walked my dogs at home for 1 hour. This is my preferred duration of a walk, however more or less time can be arranged. I am comforable with up to four well-behaved dogs on a walk at one time.
If you have specific requirements do not hesitate to contact me.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Sophie is a very nice, positive and reliable young lady who took care of our cat very well. She has extended knowledge of animals and is an animal lover too. She spended a lot of time with our cat and visibly enjoyed it. We would definitely revommend her!
Zeer tevreden met Sophie als oppas. Ze is heel vriendelijk en flexibel. De katten waren snel aan haar gewend. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
