Hi, ik ben Esther (32)! Ik ben freelance grafisch vormgever (met een Bachelor of Arts) en pas als afwisseling van het computerwerk ook met heel veel liefde en plezier op katten (al 10+ jaar)! Ik woon samen met mijn partner en onze eigen twee katten: Loki en Mochi, die echt alles voor mij betekenen. Ik sta er ook om bekend dat ik veel te veel tijd steek in elke kat die ik waar dan ook tegen kom (zoals je op de foto’s wel kan zien haha). Katten zijn nou eenmaal gewoon het leukste wat er is! Verder heb ik jaren bij thuishulp gewerkt, ik weet daarom als geen ander hoe het is om bij mensen thuis te komen en te zorgen voor zowel mens als dier. 

Mijn manier van werken is als volgt: als u een reservering heeft aangevraagt zal ik vóór de oppasperiode langskomen op een door ons samen afgestemd moment. Dit dient als kennismaking en, bij een goede klik, sleuteloverdracht. We spreken dan ook precies af wat ik zal doen en waar ik rekening mee moet houden.

Over het algemeen duurt een bezoek een half uur en maak ik tijdens de oppasperiode elke dag de kattenbak(ken) schoon, geef ik de kat(ten) te eten en drinken en mocht er behoefte zijn dan speel of kroel ik met ze. Uiteraard forceer ik katten nergens toe, ik kan erg goed aanvoelen waar een kat behoefte aan heeft en daar zal ik dan ook op in spelen. Niet alleen zal ik uw kat(ten) op en top verzorgen, ook zorg ik er voor dat uw huis keurig blijft (want katten weten er weleens een zooitje van te maken), de plantjes water krijgen (ik heb een enorme plantencollectie dus ze zijn veilig bij me) en krijgt u updates over het welzijn van uw kat(ten) als u dat graag wilt uiteraard!

Mocht u verder nog vragen hebben dan hoor ik het graag. Ik heb in ieder geval al zin om op uw kat(ten) te passen!

Hi, I am Esther(32)! I’m a freelance graphic designer (bachelor of arts) and to break away from my computer screen every now and again I also catsit with lots of love (for over 10 years already)! I live together with my partner and two cats: Loki and Mochi, who mean everything to me. I am also known for taking way to much time to say hi to every cat I see wherever (as you might be able to tell from my photo’s haha). Cats are just the best the world has to offer! I’ve also worked in social assistance, so I am extremely familiair with taking care of people as well as animals. 

Just to give your some more information beforehand: when you’ve made a reservation I will visit you before the petsitting period on a date we’ll discuss on this platform. This serves as a way to get to know each other a little, discuss the details and anything that I need to do. You can hand me the keys to your place at the end of our meeting.

In general a visit takes up about half an hour, I will clean the litter box every day, give your cat food and water and, if they want, I will play and cuddle with them. In general I won’t force cats to do anything, I am very good in interpreting a cats need and I will act on that ofcourse! Not only will I take the best care of your cat(s), I will also make sure your house will stay clean (cats are known to be able to make a bit of a mess after all!), I will water your plants (I have a massive plant collection so you can leave it up to me) and I will also send updates about your cat(s) if you would like to receive those!
