Hi there,

My name is Xaviera, I come from Chile and I live in Den Haag. I am a medical doctor (MD) with a master´s degree from Erasmus University.

Highlights: 

- I love hanging out with dogs and cats. Mostly because I really love their company. 

- I really have "pet fever" before baby fever, but I can't have a pet due to my housing contract. I am looking forward to play and taking care of your dog or cat. 

- I will ask you (owner) how to connect with your pet, and what does it like or not. I really believe in respecting each other and how different animals have different personalities. 

- I am very respectful, so please let's communicate beforehand on your pet's needs. We will learn together.

- I am open for going out for walks, throw balls, keeping your pet safe, always on a leash under my watch (no need for accidents), feeding and cleaning after them. 

Longer bio: 

Currently, I am looking to focus more on the experiences that provide me with joy and that is the time a spend with dogs. They are amazing! When I was growing up I used to have cats, and whenever I visited my grandparents I was able to play with their dog. Later, I would babysit my friends´ dog-children from time to time. However, I have never had a dog myself due to personal circumstances.

I am social, patient and nurturing by nature, I am looking to take care of dogs so I can be able to express those traits while at the same time creating bonds and feeling useful to society.

I once volunteered at an animal sanctuary in Peru, where I was able to interact with many wild animals (from monkeys to Jaguars): I took the ocelot (Harry) on daily walks, I used to comb the hair of the red huacaris, prepare different games for the capuchin monkeys and even feed the jaguar!

As I am a person with no experience in paid doggy-care/cat-care, I keep my tariffs to the minimum. In this way, I am hoping to be accepted by a doggy-owner who would be willing to help me increase my working hours in this field.

I live close to the beach and to the Bos, I think they are best places to go to. 

I would love to spend more time with animals because I believe there is a lot to learn from them as well.
