I am a Sustainability consultant from India currently living and working at The Hague in the Dutch Development Bank (FMO).
I am living alone in a one bedroom 18th Century quaint house located in the quite neighbourhood. Apart from my day to day work, I love to paint and do some gardening in my spare time.
I love animals and have been a dog owner for almost 20 years and have experience with almost 3 varieties of breeds (Lahsa Apso, Boder Collie, Indie, German Shepards) and more. I usually used to walk dogs from anything between 20-30 mins depending on the requirement. Since I have a 9-5 job and I have to visit office sometimes I would be available on weekends for all kinds of dog services.
I can board up to 2 dogs in one day. I have a 80'meter square apartment in the ground floor with a small park right outside. The guest pets can sleep inside the house on a cozy dog bed. My current dog back in India called Tofu, is a rescued dog we adopted a little more than year ago.
Being away from home I miss my pets even more and being a pet sitter would allow me to be around dogs. I have grown up with dogs and other animals around which has motivated me to be a pet sitter and help other dog owners.
It is highly fulfilling to be able to take care of dogs even for a few hours. I also love to train dogs but do not have any professional certificate in the same. Back in India I am associated with a rescue dog foundation based in the North called The Kind Hour.
I would prefer taking vaccinated pets for safety and hygiene purposes.
I am instantly friendly and comfortable around dogs no matter how big or small, I am happy to take care for 24h or walk them.
We were really happy with how well Anushka took care of our dog while we had to be away. The communication was clear and efficient and we could see that Quki enjoyed his stay.
Anushka was professional and friendly, providing daily reports. We would certainly leave our dog with Anushka again. She took great care of our dog.
