Hi all :)

I am a 26-year-old PhD candidate at TU Delft who lives in The Hague, right next to Weimarstraat. 

I am also a big animal lover! I grew up in the countryside of Denmark, surrounded by cows, horses, rabbits, cats, dogs, and pet pigeons, to name just a few. 

I moved to the Netherlands in August of 2022 - before that, I lived in Sweden from 2018 to the summer of 2022, where I used to function as a pet sitter for a handful of different pets and families. Before moving to Sweden, I also walked dogs back in Denmark, where I had a standing appointment with a local vet to take her Vizsla on long walks (2+ hours) twice a week. Besides Vizslas, I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds, such as english bulldogs, french bulldogs, samoids, boxers, terriers, and german shepherds, to name a few. 

I have a fairly flexible schedule and am generally available for dog walking and pet sitting! In the past, I have done different versions of these arrangements. Some owners preferred me to just come to their houses to pick up their dogs and take them on a walk in the area. Others liked for me to take the dog on a walk and spend some time with the dog at their place (1-5 hours), sometimes until a household member returned home for the day. I have also participated in longer arrangements where I have watched pets (dogs and cats) for multiple days, like 2-4 days. 

Unfortunately, I cannot pet sit in my apartment, but I am happy to come to you.
