My name is Ferenc Molnar. I joined up as dogsitter at Pawshake simply because dogs are a great company and I love having them around me. I have quite some experience with training and taking care of dogs such as Pitbull Terriers, but also with smaller ones like Cocker Spaniels and Beagles. I hope to have a dog of my own soon, but at this moment it’s not possible yet.

I’m a freelance photographer and I'm also a teacher at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

I have flexible work hours, depending on my assignments, but usually, I have more free time during the summer breaks, which I love to spend with walking and playing with dogs on the beach or in the surrounding small woods.

I live in a quiet and safe neighborhood (Zeehelden kwartier). The beach is relatively nearby, about 4km. There are several parks for walking dogs around my house, but the Scheveningse bosses or the Bos van Poot is also in a walking distance.

I walk the dogs in my care 3-4 times a day. Depending on the size and stamina of the animal we go on a long one in the afternoons, approximately 10-12km, which takes about 3 hours, through Bosjes van Poot to the beach (Zuiderstrand) and back. This is a great opportunity for us to bond through playing and training, and it helps to create a trustful and relaxed atmosphere at home. Via daily messages and photos, I keep the owners up to date on their dog’s “holiday”.

When I’m not teaching, I work mostly at home or in my spacious photo studio in the center of town, mainly on my computer, so spending time with dogs, being outside in nature or on the seaside is a great

way to compensate for the hours I sit behind my laptop.
