Hi there! My name is Jody (nickname from Joanna), and I would love to stand-in for the love and care of your cats and dogs whenever you are unable to yourself. I am from South Africa and currently a student of Leiden University College in The Hague, studying Environmental Sciences. Not only am I passionate about four-legged furry creatures, but all animals around us.  

I have lived with dogs, cats and rabbits for most of my life, and have had plenty of daily experience with both the shyest and most energetic ones alike! I also have previous experience with dog training and volunteering at a local dog and cat shelter back home. However, my services would not be fit for walking dogs who have aggressive tendencies towards others dogs or children. 

A general idea of what my time spent with your beloved animal would be like includes going for walks (or a jog for dogs with lots of energy to expend!) around parks in Escamp or the Haagse Bos (or other preferred walking area) and lots of gentle petting and attention to get to know them. I am more than happy to help reinforce some good manners (sitting and staying for example) that you may like them to have. Additionally I could bring some healthy homemade treats with me, that we usually make back home for our own dogs and cats.  

I would also love to look after your pets in the comfort of their own home on a weekly basis or perhaps for a night when you are away. Again, this will include walks, play-time and caring attention (and of course treating your space with respect and tidiness). 

Overall, I have missed using the gentle connection one can make with animals, which is definitely something I would strive to provide!
