Hello Everybody,My name is MariaRosaria and I'm a professional clarinet player living in the netherlands since 2011. I'm italian, 30 years old and I'm proud owner of a male middle size (rescued) terrier named: Tartufo ( which means truffle). I am a generally positive and active girl, I love sports and nature, especially the sea. I came to the netherlands to study at the Utrecht conservatory but after my studies I started to work as professional musician as well, so I did not came back to Italy. Last year I decided that it was to good moment to settle down also with another "old dream" that I always had: work in the animal care field. I started to study as Veterinary assistent at LOI, and this year, as I have more knowledge about pet's needs I'd to offer my services as a pet sitter. As I had pets since I was a child and my granparents had a farm I have been always sourrounded by pets of all sorts and I've always loved to look after them. Moreover, as a pet owner I know how one can struggle to do everything in life and still have a good care of the pet that shares life with you; so I feel I want to do something usefull to these owners who are in need of a reliable figure that can look after their beloved pets while they cannot do it. One more reason that makes me want to look after pets and taking care of them is that they just give love to the house where they are living, and to the family that adopt them, so they deserve all the good in this world, and If I can contribute to that good then I'll be pleased to do it not only with my own dog everyday but also with someone else's pet. As a future veterinary assistant I know well that most sickness or healthy problems of pets can be caused by stress situations: the absence of the owner can be a very stressfull moment for your pet. I want to help whoever might need it to overcome this situation and prevent useless stress for your pet while you have to be away. :) As I share my life with a very active a dog (we train for agility every week) and I am a musician and teacher I cannot offer also services about dogs cause that will take away too much time for my own dog; and I don't like the idea. On the other side I happily offer house petsitter-care especially for cats and rodens, that usually don't want to be moved away from their own houses. What I usually do during a home visit is a complete cleaning of litters and/or cages of pets, refill with fresh water and fresh food.... but before food: playtime!! I always make sure to have at least an hour up to two hours and half to keep company and play with your pet, before leaving them with a clean cage/litter and fresh water and food. Play time is very important for pets especially when their beloved owners are not there. If you're asking yourself why did I say "before food: playtime" here I give you the answer: after food is always good, not matter what the size of your pet, to rest and chill out. A joyfull jumping pet with a full stomach can turn out to be a medical emergency, so I always take care that food comes after playtime, so your pet can happily rest with a full belly.
