Hello everyone!

My name is Carina and I am here for all your pet's needs! I recently obtained my bachelor's degree and am currently taking a gap year before beginning a Masters in sustainability. I have been living in Rotterdam for the past 3 years and work here now as a part-time remote online tutor. This means my hours are very flexible and that I am often home. I am half Dutch and Italian but lived abroad in Thailand for most of my life. Growing up, I always had at least one pet. But as there were many stray dogs and cats in Thailand, my home became more of a foster, or even permanent home, for many animals. As such, I have experience with stray and rescue dogs and how to apply or give medications. I speak fluent English and Thai and am proficient in Dutch. In my spare time I love to go on long walks in the park, dancing, and cooking. And of course, I love animals with a passion. From household pets to farm animals to wild ones, I have always had a special place for them in my heart.

Back home with my parents I have 1 dog named Buddy and 2 cats names Eden and Titi. Regrettably, I am unable to be with them as I plan to continue residing in Rotterdam for my studies. They are currently in Thailand with my parents, so as you may expect I long for animal company. During my gap year, I would love to become a sitter and give your pets this extra energy and love I cannot give to my own.

SERVICES

Dog Walking. Walks are at least 30 min, other than that the length of the walk is up to you! For safety reasons I prefer to keep leashes on for all walks. Leash and poop bags should be provided by you :)

Boarding and Daycare. I am pretty flexible in terms of services and because I am taking a gap year, I can provide a generous amount of attention and care to your pets. I am flexible in terms of size, age and vaccination status. I can board up to 2 large dogs and 3 medium dogs in my home at once. I can spend almost 24/7 with guest pets on a daily basis as I work from home part-time. If you prefer, I can be home with your pet(s) the entire time! In any case, I will not leave your pet(s) for more than 3 hours for boarding and not more than 1 hour for daycare. I have 2 female roommates who also love animals, but because they work a lot, are mostly out of the house. Our household does not have any pets.

The guest pets may sleep in the living room, or in my quite large bedroom. Duration of boarding is within a 24 hour time frame. The boarding rate is charged per 24 hour period. Daycare duration must be at least 1 hour and can be a maximum of 10 hours.

Home Visits. Home visits should be at least 30 min. I can do two visits in one day. The combined duration can be a maximum of 5 hours. I am available morning, afternoon, and evening.

House sitting is charged per 24 hour period. My services additionally include collecting mail, watering plants, and putting out the bins on garbage day. More specifics can be discussed.
