Experienced dog owner and sitter, incl. rescue dogs | Flexible | Communicative | Reliable

Hello there! I am from Rotterdam, where I live in a spacious 2-floor appartment with my dog Lua* in Oude Noorden. I work part-time as a consultant for non-profits, and have the time and dedication to take care of your furry loved ones. As an experienced dog owner, I know that you are looking for someone:

- Who will ensure the safety and wellbeing of your precious friend

- Is attentive to your dog's specific needs, be it long walks in the park or belly rubs on my sunny balcony

- Follows your instructions carefully & gives frequent updates

I am especially experienced with rescue / anxious dogs, understanding of their body language, and with building trust over time. And if your dog has high energy levels, I am happy to take them along for a run or bike ride - of course only if they are fully grown & with your permission.

As I work independently, I am open to discussing your petsitting needs:
- I can do walks of 30 min, incl. refreshing water/food, playing & cuddles
- Host your pet at my place when you are working or travelling

* My own dog is gentle, sterilized/vaccinated against kennel cough etc., and avoidant of confrontation with other dogs but will set her boundaries with pushy dogs. It would be wonderful if our dogs click as playmates or as a bare minimum respect each other's space.

What I expect from your dog:

To be sociable to other dogs & have relative good behaviour on the leash

To be fully vaccinated and treated against flees & parasites

Neutered if male, otherwise it might be a bit bothersome for my female dog. I can make exceptions for small & older / calmer males.

To be able to go up & down the stairs, or under 10 kg so I can carry them :-)
