Sophie

Hello! I am an animal loving person who wishes for more contact with furry friends! My name is Sophie, I'm 20 years old and I am Dutch and French Canadian, I speak English, Dutch, French and a little Spanish. I am a happy, easy going person who is openminded and openhearted for allllll dogs! It would be my pleasure to look after your cuties!

I've had dogs since the age of 5. A Labrador and a Labrador/border collie which means I know how to handle the big ones (but am definitely not apposed to smaller pups too) ! I have always walked and fed my current dog (who unfortunately doesn't live in Amsterdam) and made sure he feels more than loved. I recognise all dogs have different personalities which need to be tended to. All dogs are amazing dogs in my book! I also had 12 rabbits and 7 chicken and chicks throughout my childhood meaning I grew up with animal responsibilities and learned to appreciate them all.

If you are interested in house sittings trust that I will not leave them alone, I will walk them at least 3 times a day and if they need more I'd be happy to go +5 times. I love long walks alone, being immersed in nature and greenery (anywhere but especially in the Amsterdamse Bos) and with a doggy that will be even more enjoyable. I am respectful, I will follow your house rules and ensure I only get as comfortable as you wish me to. Your dog/s will always be treated as king/queen of the castle!

I want to be a dog walker because I miss my own dog who is now 14 but lives with my mum in Switzerland... So, if you have an older dog, you can trust that I will take care of him/her and make them feel safe (and extremelyyy loved).
