*Responsible and knowledgeable help with your dog*

Taking a dog for a walk, doing a training session or talking with an owner about their dog are some of my favorite things to do.

Experience:

I learned to love dogs through a my first dog, Charlotte.

Charlotte was a rescue with limited socialization. In order to have her in the world we had to learn about her fears, aggression, prey drive, socialization phases, separation anxiety, etc. in order to get along. This education taught me a lot about the world of dogs and made me realize how much more there was to learn.  

Since that time I've spent hundreds of hours working with different dog trainers, walking dogs, reading dog psychology books, and also working hands on as an independant dog trainer.

Learning how we as humans can communicate with dogs is one of the most fascinating things in life to me.

Training approach:

Positive reinforcement training is the only method of training I practice.

All techniques are pet friendly. Pain should never be part of training - no e-collars, shock collars, etc.

The only training tools I use are treats, a clicker and a slip lead.
