Gülşah Ela

Hi, dear pet owners,  

I am Ela from Germany. I have been living with my boyfriend, Koen, together in Muiderberg in our new peaceful house for a few months. I am a marine biologist working at Wageningen Marine Research Institute, and my boyfriend owns a tech company in health care. We are both in our early thirties, love nature, wildlife, animals, travelling, adventures, and our independence. As we travel a lot, we are hesitant to have pets. 

Nevertheless, we would like to enjoy the presence of an animal in our house. We would also love to petsit a cat. However, my sister-in-law has, unfortunately, very allergic responses to cats; therefore, no cats.

We both grew up with animals. I studied biology due to my love for nature and animals and have been working with wildlife for years. We are regularly sitting dogs of friends and family (on the pictures).  

We both work primarily from home. This means there is always someone to walk your dog out. However, occasionally, although very rarely! We both need to be at an appointment out of the house. Furthermore, we both are kitesurfers and chasing the wind in the Netherlands. Thus, occasionally, we would leave your dog alone for some time (approx 3-4 h). Therefore, we would like to welcome dogs that are comfortable to leave alone at home for a bit of time.

We would like to have friendly dogs/animals for a visit who fits our spirit. Muiderberg is full of loving dog owners. Therefore, we would encounter at the promenade many dog buddies playing together. We have a little garden and a reasonably spacious house. We usually do two long walks (early morning and afternoons) and 1 to 2 more brief ones (midday and before sleep).  

We would love to look after your pet and give him a loving and caring home during your absence. We are both very active people. Therefore, your dog will not lack any movement. If you are willing to drop off and pick up your dog from our house, please do not hesitate to contact me. Of course, we would like to have fully vaccinated dogs, friendly to humans and other animals, without a history of aggression or runaway.
