Hi!

My name is Aukje and I'm 29 years old and I was born and raised in Maastricht. And currently work as a Content Writer for a FinTech company. 

I absolutely love animals (I would say more than I love humans). I have had cats, rabbits, hamsters and Guinea pigs when I grew up. I currently have two demanding lady cats who I love as if I birthed them myself.

As I have left my beloved kids at a pension myself before, I have experienced the stress of having to leave them there and also the stress the cats experience when having to change environment. This is why I'd love to help and keep things as normal as possible for your pet children while you're away.

My cats are very different, as one of them is a very cuddly and lazy British Shorthair, who needs extra play time and a special diet so she doesn't turn as wide as she is long. My other kitty is very anxious and tends to do some sickies when she is worried. I'm fully equipped to deal with all different temperaments, and understand that pets need space and time to warm up to humans.

If you choose me to watch over your pet child(ren) I will follow your instructions carefully and make sure your cats feel as if they're on a holiday at home themselves. I will take care of them as if they were my own. I will also make sure their toilet gets cleaned, the mess your pet children make gets cleaned up and bring your post in.

Dogs: I'm 100% up for taking care of your dog kiddo as well, just note that I do not have a lot of experience other than that I absolutely LOVE dogs. I do love walking dogs and play with them and if you leave clear instructions, I could become your dog's best friend. 

I would love to get to meet you and your pet friends beforehand so you know you leave your child(ren) in good hands and can enjoy your trip worry-free.
