Hello! I moved to the Netherlands with my wife from the United States, specifically the great state of Minnesota. My wife is working for Boston Scientific and I am planning to teach English online. I left my job as a college advisor for Century College in order to join my wife for adventures overseas. Since I work from home, I have plenty of time to take care of our dog Ronin, a 5 year old, male Shiba Inu. He is like a child to us and gets to go on many of our adventures; frequent backpacking trips, boat cruises, cross country road trips, canoeing, camping, and even riding in a backpack while biking. He is very mild mannered and gets along well in public spaces. However, he does have some hesitancy around children and puppies, Ronin prefers the company of adult dogs.
My wife and I would describe ourselves as "dog people" both of us having dogs since we were children. We also have been living with friends and their dogs over the past few years and would often have several dogs running around our house on a daily basis. Ronin grew up with a black lab and a mixed breed, so he is used to having other dogs around him, this is actually the 1st time he will not be living with other dogs. I would welcome the opportunity to meet other dogs and have Ronin make some new friends. Our apartment is near a rather large "green space" perfect for taking dogs out and there is an awesome "off lead" dog park nearby that I love to walk through.
I'm excited for this opportunity and looking forward to meeting some new pups!
Brady was great to work with and took great care of our two pups while we were away.
Brady is really great to work with and our dog Dalton loves spending the weekend with him and his wife!
