Cécile

My name is Cécile Vitaldurand, I am French and I am 20 years old. I'm am a student of Maastricht University where I study European Law.

Unfortunately, I do not have a pet anymore because my revenue is too low to properly take care of a pet but I have had five animals in my life. The pets we have are currently staying with my parents who have a big house in Southern Sweden.

I have previous experiences with Paswhake where I have been taking care of both cats and dogs.

The first pet I have had was a black and white cat, his name is Manitou and he is now 16 years old. He is a grumpy old cat but he is a very important member of the family. Later, we adopted another cat, her name was Calamity, she was a great, very beautiful and energetic cat who required a lot of attention. Unfortunately, she was hit by a car when she was 3 years old and died following the accident. Later, once we moved to a bigger house with a bigger garden, we adopted a golden retriever. His name was Azur and he was already 8 months old when he joined the family. Azur suffered a kidney dysfunction and was following a special treatment. Nevertheless, Azur followed us to Sweden and enjoyed a great life running in the forest and swimming in the lakes. He was a lovely dog which did not ask for much care but a lot of love. He left us in March 2015 due to his kidney malfunction. The family was gravely sorrowed by his death but still convinced by the decision we made as he was suffering.

Later this year we adopted another cat to keep company to our old one, her name is Dixie-Biscuit and she is a small cat. She is a little wild and very energetic but she likes to cuddle once in a while and is great to play with. Finally, the last member of the family arrived in April 2015. His name is Watson and he is a gordon setter. He has a great deal of energy to spend and we bring how for a 2 hours run every day. He has a lot of love to offer and gets a lot of love back. Watson is now almost 2 years old and lives a happy life with the 2 cats and my family in Sweden.

In Maastricht I live in a flat (80m2) with a small balcony (about 20m2). I live with my roommate Sebastiao which is very excited about watching and taking care of a pet. Some friends of mine have been working as pet sitters for Pawshake in the past 2 years and recommended us to try it.
